Originating in the 1840 with a purchase of 65 wooded acres by village founder Henry Elliot Sr., the village of Hampton has evolved into a scenic and historically rich enclave offering the benefits of a quiet suburban community while continuing to be a vital part of the ever growing GTA.

Located in the municipality of Clarington, just north of picturesque Lake Ontario, the village now proudly boasts a population of 400 kind souls, 1000 if you include the surrounding areas.

While we take great pride in our colourful past the village is forward looking and we hope this web site will provide useful information to all including current and future residents, business and potential investors.
